He is survived by: his children, Robert Jankiewicz (Candace) of Old Saybrook, CT, Dyan Kane (Gerald) of Wilbraham, Catherine Manning (John) of Wilbraham and Steven Jankiewicz (Laurie) of Hampden; his adoptive son Peter Dowers (Denise) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Stacy Labadorf, Daniel Manning, Emily Manning, Thomas Jankiewicz, Christopher Jankiewicz, Audrey Jankiewicz, James Kane, Joanna Howell, Jessica Jankiewicz, Steven Jankiewicz and Nicholas Rzeszutek; and his nephew William Lyons (Beverly) of Ellington, CT.
