He was predeceased by: his parent Grosvenor D. Knox Sr.; his stepparent Elley Gonzales; his son Shawn Grosvenor Knox; his siblings, Sandra Knox (Israel) and Jesus "Chuey" Gonzales; and his brother-in-law Billy Baribeau.
He is survived by: his parent Barbara E. Knox-Gonzales (Burns); his spouse Barbara Knox-Gonzales; his sons, Michael D. Knox and Patrick R. Knox Sr.; his grandchildren, Patrick R. Knox Jr., Emma Rose "Miki" Coyle and Connor G. Knox Wilson; and his siblings, Diane Baribeau Kathleen Kozakiewicz (Joe Witkowski), Carmen Burroughs (Raymond), Linda Silvas (Ed), Sulema Andreoli (Don), Marcia Bromley (Dick) and Maria Roncarati. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
