He was predeceased by: his parents, George Russell and Naomi Russell (Geer); his close friends, Terrance and Rena O'Keefe; his granddaughter Abbigayle Perrin; and his siblings, Delbert Russell and Carol Landers.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Russell; his children, Brian (Susan Russell), Jennifer Leneau, Matthew Perrin, Michelle Boutwell (Scott) and John Perrin (Jennie); his grandchildren, Sadie, Abigail, Anne, Derek, Tyler, Nathaniel, Gabrielle, Gavin, Kaytlin, Alexsis, Demitria, Ava, Leila and Jack; his great grandchildren, Aili and Trey; his sisters, Eleanor Fortini of East Longmeadow, Joyce Maybury of Vero Beach, FL and Thelma Rogers of Cape Canaveral, FL; and his sister-in-law Beverly Russell of Warren.
