He is survived by: his wife Eileen Plante (Amato); his children, Christine Hager (James), Cheryl Cudnik (Ron) and James Jr. (Barbara); his grandchildren, Kait (Ali), Ryan (Karin), Peter (Molly), James, Brittney, Tyler and Jessica (Merric); his great grandchildren, Jordan, Ciera, Charlotte, Nora and Lincoln; and his siblings, Richard Plante (RheEtta) and Sheila Trepanier (George).

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Cecilia Church (42 Main St, Wilbraham, MA 01095).
