He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Luvera and Josephine Luvera (Stellato); his wife Anna Luvera (Penna); and his siblings, Elsie Derderian, Rose Resta, Jennie Luvera, Virginia Fitzgerald, Mary Pelletier, Catherine Colello and Charles Luvera.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph, Jr. (Michelle) of South Carolina, Stephen (Kathryn), Longmeadow and Michael of Springfield; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Gianni, Nicole, Tallia Luvera and Fabiano Ramazio; his great grandchildren, AnnaBelle and Mylee Vancini; his sister-in-law Patricia Luvera; his goddaughter Elizabeth Landers; and his close friend Kathleen Savoy.
