He is survived by: his spouse Judge Virginia M. Combs; his sons, Matthew S. Foss (Dorota) of Warsaw, Poland Foss and David L. Foss of Springfield, MA; his grandsons, Christopher, Frances of Warsaw and Poland; and his sister Deborah Tessar of Dania Beach, FL.
