He was predeceased by : his parents, Rupert A. Rice and Althea R. Rice (Davis); and his siblings, Norman Rice, John Rice (Jack) and Althea Waters (Peg Rice).
He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Rice (Hoffman); his children, Kendall Rice Jr. (Chris) of Winchendon and Kristine D. Rice of Longmeadow; his grandchildren, Cory Rice (Ashley), Kayla Landry (Chad), Hayleigh LaCroix (Keenan Williams), Ari Vazquez and Kendall Vazquez; and his great grandchildren, Lillian Roberts, Cole Landry, Charlotte Landry, Teagan Rice, Camden Rice and Evelyn Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID pandemic, funeral services will be private for the family.
Donations in lieu of flowers will be used to establish an athletic scholarship in his honor and donations can be directed to the Coach Ken Rice Memorial Scholarship Fund, Athol Savings Bank, 388 Main Street, Athol, Ma 01331.
