It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurence C Petersen of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurits Christian and Mary Christina Petersen (Jensen); his wife Nella Bottaccini (Bottaccini); his daughter-in-law Katie Petersen; and his sisters, Gertrude Petersen, Florence Horton-LeMaire and Dorathy Wert-Warren.
He is survived by: his children, Scott L. Petersen of Longmeadow, Sheryn L. Roberts (Gary) of Springfield, Sandra L. Quadrozzi (William Pruyne) of East Longmeadow and Sheila L. DeSellier (Thomas) of Granby, MA.; his grandchildren, Jodi Roberts Gordon, Jennifer Roberts Michaelian (Wayne), Daniel C. Petersen, Michael Quadrozzi, Emily DeSellier, Fionn Warren and Shianne DeSellier; and his great grandchildren, Samuel, Bailey, Benjamin Gordon, Keeley, Olivia, Adelina Petersen, Tyler and Smith Michaelian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
