He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick John Sullivan and Catherine Frances Sullivan (Fitzgerald); his siblings, Eleanor Haggerty, Gerald Sullivan and Raymond Sullivan; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas J. Finn and Dorothy A. Finn.
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Sullivan (Finn); his children, Dennis M. Sullivan of Springfield, Ellen M. Tyler (Ronald) of Old Lyme, CT, Maureen A. Dinnan (James) of Old Lyme, CT, Patrick J. Sullivan (Nancy) of Springfield, Elizabeth M. Jury (Jack) of Westfield and Theresa M. Sweeney (Patrick) of Suffield, CT; and his siblings, Marion Rogers of Springfield, Kathleen Cavallo (Frank) of Feeding Hills and Edward Sullivan of Springfield. He is also survived by grandchildren; his nine cherished great-grandchildren.
