Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ronn Johnson of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 63, on January 15, 2022. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna; his children, Ronald and Brianna; his grandchildren, Jade and Jonas; his mother Clara Johnson-Bunn; his sisters, Jo-Ann Miller, Regina Jackson and Charlotte Payne; his brothers-in-law, Marvin Miller, Philip Jackson and Todd Payne; his father Fletcher L. Johnson; and his stepfather Billy E. Bunn. He was also cherished by aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Strict COVID protocols including masking and social distancing will be applied. Due to COVID protocols, the memorial service celebrating Ronn's life will not be open to the public.
When an outpouring of support from the community resulted in an overflow of donations, Ronn made it his mission to continue the work of the fund to address the mobility and access needs of other families with children with disabilities in Western Massachusetts. In the last 24 years, The Brianna Fund has received over $750, 000 in donations and provided assistance to 50 families.
