It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Lou Rivers (Springfield, Massachusetts), born in Columbus Grove, Ohio, who passed away on August 12, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Susan Hanchett; her nephews, Daniel V. and James V.; and her parent Pauline III. She is survived by: her husband Michael D. Rivers; her children, Jennifer S. Cole of Boston, Andrew J. Rivers of Sturbridge and Julie A. Rivers of Watertown; her grandchildren, Elise, Hollis and Miles; her siblings, Ann Mortell and James Hanchett IV; her siblings' children, Karen, Christine, Katie, Francis, Richard, Michael and Thomas; and her parent James L. Hanchett III. She is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.
