It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sampson R. Whitney (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 2, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Sampson Johnson; his wife Jeanette Whitney (Belanger); his son Robert Whitney; and his siblings, Floyd, Barbara, June and Richard.
He is survived by: his parent Alphonsine Delia Whitney (Cote); his sons, William Whitney (Kimberly) of Franklin, MA and Matthew Whitney of Chicopee; his granddaughters, Alison and Jillian; and his child Carew St of Springfield, MA.
