She was predeceased by: her parents, Joan Brooks (Powers) and Thomas Brooks; her sister Joan Laverne Brooks (Halimah); and her stepfather Nathanial Hall. She is survived by: her pet Lola; her son LaFaris Damon Brooks of Springfield; her granddaughter Aunye C. Brooks of Enfield, Connecticut; her niece Nicole E. Brooks of Springfield; and her uncle LaPheris Powers (Diane) of Suffield, Connecticut.
Stephanie also was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church which she attended regularly prior to the pandemic and where she served as a Communion Steward.
