We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2018, at the age of 86, Vera Murphy (Springfield, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas MacDonnell; and her husband James B. Murphy Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Isabel MacDonnell (Diamond); her children, James Murphy of Springfield, Mark Murphy (Tammy) of Chicopee, Joan Murphy of Chicopee and Martha Marsh (Christopher) of Springfield; her sister Alice Ford of Springfield; her grandchildren, Nora, Nicholas, Rory Murphy, Emma Marsh and James Marsh; her child Carew St; and also Fred DeMarinis of Chicopee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Vera's memory may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
