Victor J. Garatti Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2021, at the age of 96, Victor J. Garatti of Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Garatti and Antoinette Garatti (Maule); his wife Jeanne B. Garatti (Hudon); and his sister Janet Lazzari (Felix). He is survived by: his children, Gloria J. Salemi (Steven Robert) of Monson, David J. Garatti of Chicopee, Elaine M. McMahon (Christopher) of East Longmeadow and Linda A. Fidalgo (Todd) of Wilbraham; his grandchildren, Dominick Salemi (Nanette), Sara Robitaille (Keith), Paul Blazejowski (Rebecca) and Halley Fidalgo; and his great grandchildren, Gianna, Vanessa Salemi, Nathan, Cole Robitaille and Morgan Blazejowski.
His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 2 p. m. to 5:00 p. m. Masks are recommended for funeral services.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke, 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040 or to the Shriners Hospital for Children (Please Specify Springfield), 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
