William H. Gurney Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2021, at the age of 86, William H. Gurney Sr. of Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his wife Phyllis Ann Gurney (Mogue); his parents, Howard R. Gurney and Blanche Y. Gurney (Joubert); and his sisters, Claire Patruno and Elizabeth Carpenter.
He is survived by : his children, William Gurney Jr. of East Longmeadow, Tracy Savoie (Craig) of Springfield, Diane Springer of Springfield and Stephen Gurney of Springfield; his sister Lois; his sister-in-law Jacqueline Reopel of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Michelle Noonan (Tim), Joseph Gurney (Alyssa), Tim Gurney (Kim), Shane Springer, Courtney Normand (Andrew), Stephanie Gurney, Dillon Springer, Michael Savoie, Kaitlin Gurney, Juliana Gonzalez, Victoria Springer and Mia (Aidan Nicely-Gurney); and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Haileigh, Amelia, Alana, Braeden, Griffin, Riley, Jameson and Kaylani. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many friends.
