She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Vernon R. Harris and Ellen C. Harris (Butterick); her husband Richard L. Doucette, Sr.; her children, Richard L. Doucette, Jr., David A. Doucette, Ellen F. Doucette of Leominster and Jeremiah E. Doucette (Susan) of Abingdon, VA; her grandchildren, Tawnya Singleton (Brian), Danielle Doucette-Hardy (Jeremy), Ellisse Doucette, Arianne Doucette (David) and Brittany Doucette (Ron); and her great grandchildren, Macie Frazier, Preston Frazier, Vienne and Stella Doucette-Hardy. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions and for everyone's safety, a graveside service will be scheduled for later this spring.
In her memory, donations can be given to the Sterling Historical Society or the Hiram O. Taylor American Legion Post 189 in Sterling.
