He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Filippone and Virginia Filippone (Smith). He is survived by: his husband Paul Anselmi; his siblings, Veronica Shaponick (Bobby), Dana DelPrato (Bill Mercurio), Teri Sullivan (Peter) and Ginny Filippone; and his mother-in-law Joanne Anselmi (late Paul). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
