He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Skaling and Mildred Skaling (Travers); and his brother Frederick. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Peter, Stephanie Backman, Michael and Brandon Skaling; his wife Theresa Skaling (Pierce); his children, Laura Backman (Scott) of Georgetown, Daniel Skaling (Allison) and Theresa Skaling of Stoneham; his brother Joseph Skaling; and his granddaughter Stephanie Beckman.
