He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Chingris (Nicholas) of Andover, Lorin Sledge (Raymond) of Somerville, Eric Vroom (Melissa) of Boxborough and Jason Vroom (Gianna) of Melrose; his siblings, George of Somerville and Evelyn Vroom of Somerville; his grandchildren, Sophie, Alex, Cole, Emily, Raymond, Jade, Colin, Nathan, Avery, Eleni and Nolan; and his niece Meredith Nunley.
