With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John L. Devereaux (Stoneham, Massachusetts), born in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 21, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Frances and Mary Loretta Devereaux (Taylor) of South Boston; his wife Margaret Anne Duffy; his siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Igo and Robert Duffy (Karen) of Marshfield; Richard Devereaux.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Devereaux of Stoneham, Anne F. McAllister (Robert) of Stoneham and John L. Devereaux of Stoneham; his grandchildren, Maggie of Stoneham, Elise of Stoneham and Robert McAllister of Stoneham; his sister Mary Holmes; his close friend Kevin McArdle of Scituate; Eugene of Franklin, MA, Delores of Naples, FL, Jack Gerah of Naples, FL, Katherine Devereaux of Naples, FL, Ellen of Naples, FL and Bob Davis of Naples, FL. He is also survived by several God children, nieces, nephews, and friends.
