He is survived by: his wife Maria H. Avelar (Frade); his nieces, Gina Alves and Sonia Avelar; his great-niece Scarlett Alves; and his siblings-in-law, Cecilia Furtado and Antonio Frade (Maria).
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, private family services will be held with a burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
