He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel D. Gomes and Phyllis Gomes (Andrade). He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Lucas of California, Manuel "Danny" Gomes, Jr. of California, Renee Barbosa of Washington, DC, David W. Gomes of Stoughton and Dana A. Gomes of Stoughton. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, 5 great-nieces and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
