She was predeceased by: her father Marcelo Fuentes. She is survived by: her mother Maria L. Carrasquillo of Stoughton; her son Aviel Y. Fuentes of Stoughton; and her siblings, Edna Ayuso of Sharon, Eddy Fuentes of Boston and Edwin Carrasquillo of Brighton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
