With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilberto Defreitas (Stoughton, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 9, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sibling Maria Vasconcelos. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Capone (Stephen) and Billy DeFreitas (Stacy) of Stoughton; his grandchildren, Olivia K. Capone and Chloe M. Capone; and his siblings, Joao Freitas, Mariana Dias, Helen Medeiros, Jose Freitas, Francisco Freitas, Norberto Freitas and Vasco Freitas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
