She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Grossman and Tillie Grossman (Rutman); her spouse Isadore "Izzy" Safer; and her sister Zelda Freedman. She is survived by: her children, Susan Bernstein (David) of Stoughton, Dr. Jeffrey Safer (Missy) of Seattle and Dr. Theodore Safer (Cheryl) of Sharon; and her siblings, Sylvia Burack and Kenneth Grossman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
