With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene M. (Simoes) Belmonte (Stoughton, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 27, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Simoes and Angelina Simoes (Giamansi); and her siblings, John, Richard, Robert, Anthony Simoes and Patricia Kudryk.
She is survived by: her sons, Louis R. Belmonte, Jr. (Lisa) of Lexington, Anthony S. Belmonte of Bridgewater and David M. Belmonte (Jill) of Stoughton; her grandchildren, Dominic, Kaleigh, Colin, Nicholas, Isabel, Danika Belmonte and Lauren Coyne; her godsons, Peter Niosi of Quincy and Ronald Powell of Easton; and her siblings, Mary Barron of Readville, Rose Powell of Hyde Park, Manuel Simoes, Jr. of Stoughton, Linda Cofran of Stoughton, Louise Kornmuller of Norwood and Catherine Cofran of Yarmouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
