He is survived by: his son Alexander America Carvalho; his grandchildren, Michael James Webb Carvalho, William Paul Webb Carvalho and Katherine Faith Webb Carvalho; his wife Angelina (Chaves America) of Sousa Carvalho; his daughter-in-law Laura Webb Carvalho of Austin, TX; his brother-in-law Fernando Vaz of Coimbra; his niece Amelia Vaz Gaspar of Coimbra, Portugal.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nuno Vaz Gaspar of Lisbon and Carolina Vaz Gaspar of Coimbra, Portugal.. He is also survived by his son and grandchildren.
