He was predeceased by: his son Joseph C. Gomes. He is survived by: his wife Carmo Gomes (Couto Lima) of Stoughton; his son Paul G. Gomes (Amber) of Hubbardston; his siblings, Luis Gomes and Mary DoVale of Stoughton; and his great grandchild Luisa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
