He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Callanan and Vera Callanan (Revnoff). He is survived by: his wife Joanne F. Callanan (McStowe); his children, Kevin M. Callanan (Melissa) of Easton, Kimberly C. O'Leary (Brian) of Leicester, Keith E. Callanan (Kristen) of Stoughton and Kristine F. Carlo (Richard) of Walpole; and his grandchildren, Matthew St. Clair, Zachary Price, Samantha St. Clair, Kate Callanan, Jackson Carlo, Shay Callanan, Alex Callanan, Luke Callanan, Andrew Carlo, Ty Callanan, Nathan Carlo, Jack O'Leary and Camryn O'Leary.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, private family services will be held with a celebration of Joe's life to be held at a later date.
