She was predeceased by: her husband John Viera Alves of Stoughton. She is survived by: her children, Diane M. McDaniels of Mooresville, NC., Linda C. Demers of Sandwich, MA, Janet J. Miller of Raleigh, NC and John V. Alves Jr. of Marion, MA.; and her siblings, Emily Martins of Foxborough, MA, Nancy Abreu and Joseph Abreu of South Easton, MA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
