Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Theresa (Buote) Sweeney of Stoughton, Massachusetts, born in Watertown, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 90, on June 6, 2020. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Rita Lucy Costello (Buote), James "Sonny" Buote, Louis Lawrence Buote and Lena Ann Leard (Buote). She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Sweeney (Eddie Lee) of Charleston, SC and Patricia Shevchik of Franklin, NH.; her grandchildren, Michael Beach, Rebecca Beach, Katie Williams (Dee) and Tyler Shevchik; her great grandchildren, Sarah, Caleb, Molleigh Jane, Max and Zane Thomas; her brother Raymond (Lillian Buote) of Middleboro, MA; her siblings' child Jackie Gottwold (Kevin); her son Jeffrey Buote; her brother Louis'; and her siblings' children, Cynthia Buote Dolan (Mark), Kevin Buote (Gayle), Sharon Falcone, Maryann, Sheila and Michael. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, A Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life will take place when restrictions have eased to permit for full participation by family and friends near and far.
