It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Oakes of Stoughton, Massachusetts, born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold K. Oakes and Dorothy E. Oakes (Buck). He is survived by: his sons, Richard A. Oakes, Jr. (Wendi) of Brockton and Brian E. Oakes (Karen Power) of Boston; his grandchildren, Adam, Amy and Jackie; his wife Jeannette K. Oakes (Lunnin); his great grandchild Riley; and his siblings, Robert K. Oakes of Quincy and Valerie J. Nutter (William) of Bridgewater. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Donations. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to American Cancer Society.
