He was predeceased by: his spouse Rosalie Tarchara (Turell); his parents, Bernard Tarchara and Caroline Tarchara (Ferreira); and his sisters, Margaret and Evelyn.

He is survived by: his children, Carol A. Perkins (John), Attleboro, Robert T. Tarchara (Alina) of Canton, James R. Tarchara (Susan) and Stoughton; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Derek, Danielle and Jimmy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
