It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Y Desrosiers of Swansea, Massachusetts, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Desrosiers; her parents, Treffle LaPorte and Lena LaPorte (Poulin); and her siblings, Oscar LaPorte, Cora Hebert and Connie Ferguson.

She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne; her son-in-law Paul Maria of Rehoboth, MA; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Renee Desrosiers of Apex, NC; her sister Lorraine Cronin of Coventry, RI; her grandchildren, Ashley, Brian, Emma, Samuel and Grace; and her great grandchildren, Kaelyn and Mia.
