He is survived by: his wife Donna Thomas (Furtado); his children, Jennifer Sommers (Michael) and Matthew Thomas (Holly); his grandchildren, Paige Sommers and Noah Sommers; his siblings, Joan Thomas (William) and Paul Thomas (Gail); and his sister-in-law Harriett Thomas.
