He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao V. Serodio and Maria Honorina Manica. He is survived by: his wife Maria Moniz; and his children, Joe Vieira, John Vieira, Antonio Vieira, Arthur Vieira, Nair Pontes, Louisa Oliveira and Ilda Vieira. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
