She was predeceased by: her parents, Fernand Lavoie and Clara Lavoie (Caya); and her brother Fernand L. Lavoie. She is survived by: her daughter Denise M. Holmes of California; her siblings, Claudette C Couturier of Somerset and Robert Lavoie of Fall River; her granddaughter Rhiannon Crawford of Connecticut; her great grandchild Scarlett Crawford; her goddaughter Patricia Ward of Swansea; and also, Barbara Correia of Dartmouth and David Motta of Swansea. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
