He is survived by : his children, Joel Downing (Theresa) of Fall River, Julia Tulloch (Collin) of Fall River, Cole Downing of Fall River and Clarissa Howard of Swansea; and his siblings, Joanne Harkin (late Leonard) of Swansea, Deborah Cote (Arthur) of Swansea and Timothy Frates (Donna) of Swansea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
