He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Ferreira and Maria DaGloria Ferreira (Rebelo). He is survived by: his children, Diane Rocha (Richard) of Bristol, Jason Ferreira (Amanda) of Barrington and Brian Ferreira (Crystal) of Bristol; his siblings, Jose Bernardo, Antero, Altino Ferreira and Myra Moniz; and his grandchildren, Noah, Ava, Ethan Furtado, Lucas, Naevia, Mason, Maddock Ferreira, Madison and Riley Rocha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Contributions in his honor may be made to Food for the Poor.
