He was predeceased by: his father Manuel Barao. He is survived by: his wife Maria Barao (Tavares); his mother Marianna Barao (Rego); his children, Monique Barao, Alexis Madeira (Kevin), Karina Barao and Zachary Barao; his grandson Jacoby; and his siblings, Joanne Barao, Tony Baron (Fatima), Paul Barao, Maria Carvalho (Tony), Bert Barao (Dawn) and Fatima Tremblay (David). He is also survived by four nieces; six nephews; four great nieces and one great nephew.
