He is survived by: his wife Lila McElroy (Correia); his children, Pam Moniz of Swansea, Richard T. McElroy of Fall River and Joseph P. McElroy of Indiana; and his sister Theresa McElroy of Fall River. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
