It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vergine Moniz of Swansea, Massachusetts, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his former life partner Eileen Moniz (Cordeiro); his parents, Vergine Moniz and Emily Moniz (Mello); his brother Gilbert Moniz; and his child-in-law Francis Dowling.
He is survived by : his daughter Debra J. Dowling (Stephen P. Moniz) of Swansea; his wife Charlene of Somerset; his grandchildren, Lisa, Sarah and Erik; and his sister Cynthia Silva of Fall River. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
