He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria DeFreitas Alvaro (Cabral); and his siblings, Manuel Freitas of New Bedford, Jorge Freitas of Taunton, Jose Freitas of Swansea and Lucia Borba of Taunton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
