With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Avelino of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 6, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph P. Avelino; her parents, John and Maria; and her brother Joseph. She is survived by : her children, John Avelino of Brockton, Timothy Avelino of Taunton, Kevin Avelino of Raynham, Vitalina "Vicki" A. Patten of Beverly, Mary "Marie" Avelino of Dedham and Kathleen Avelino of Newton; and her sibling Antone Andrade. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in her memory would be deeply appreciated.
