As Lucilia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lucilia. Though Lucilia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parent Augusta Mendes Nunes; and her husband Manuel Freire De Andrade. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many adoring family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edith Stein Parish (71 E Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Melrose Cemetery (88 N Pearl St, Brockton, MA 02301).
