He was predeceased by: his spouse Victoria F. Dykas (Bednarz); his parent Joseph Dykas; and his sibling Theodore P. "Ted" Dykas. He is survived by: his significant other Eva Kulpa; his parent Mary Dykas (Miga); his sons, Matthew S. Dykas, Jr. of Taunton, Richard P. Dykas of California, Katherine M. Medas, John Gedgaudas of Berkley and Carol A. Gedgaudas; his grandchildren, Christopher Dykas, Justin Medas, Andrew Medas, Olivia Gedgaudas, Jacob Gedgaudas and Darcie Fisher; his great grandchildren, Reagan Medas, Jillian Fisher and Carly Fisher; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Dykas. He is also survived by two nieces; one nephew.
