He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rosa LaPorta and Giuseppe LaPorta. He is survived by: his son Abel James Prokop of Taunton; his parents, James E. Prokop of Taunton and Anna Prokop (LaPorta) of Wareham; his sister Brittany Rose Prokop of Quincy; his grandparents, James Prokop and Mary Prokop; his aunts, Maria LaPorta of Wareham, Grace LaPorta of Mashpee and Marianne Prokop; and his cousins, Christina Barrett, Joseph Barrett of Wareham, Dillon Probert, Gabrielle Probert of Mashpee and Shayna Panek of Taunton.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a fund that is being established for the benefit of his son.
