She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Smerdon; her parents, Walter Woolley and Edith Woolley (Sowerby); and her brother Walter Woolley Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Luongo (Richard) of North Carolina; her granddaughter Erica Luongo Taylor (Alexander) of North Carolina; her great grandchild Sean Taylor; and her sister Corrine Cosgrove (Woolley).
