He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah Ann Atherton (Greene); his mother Jo Ann Savage; his children, Danielle Lee Atherton of Taunton, Rachel JoAnn Atherton of Taunton and Samuel Joseph Atherton of Taunton; his granddaughters, Alexa Rayelle and Alicia Rose Futyma; his sisters, Tracey Doyle O'Mara of MIlford, MA, Patricia Marsden (Jim), Victoria and Morgan Atherton of Hudson, NH; and his father Ian Atherton (Karen) of Hudson, NH.
